Koopa & Los Mysterios is a 1950’s rock n’ roll cover band straight out of St. Charles, IL. Known for their high octane and wild performances, they are loved by all, whether young or just young at heart, and they’ll have the entire room up and dancing in no time flat.
Delivering an inimitable brand of entertainment that features an enormous amount of energy coming off the stage, it’s easy to tell that they are having at least as much fun playing as the audience is on the floor.
Individually, they are all veterans of the Chicago live music scene, each with a background in punk and metal that brings a unique edge to the much-loved genre. The lineup includes Koopa on vocals, Rev on guitar, Christopher Leh on bass and Brian Leh on drums, four guys that have known each other and played together for over a decade and know how to give the audience an entertainment experience that is both authentic and truly original.
Citing influences from Carl Perkins, Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, Gene Vincent and Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, they claim they are doing it for the free drinks and the party, but when it’s all over but for the hangover, the music is what you’ll remember. Los Mysterios is here to stay.
